Dr Simeon Kalyesubula-Kibuuka received his M.B Ch B at Makerere University, a Diploma in International Health (DIH), and 7 months at Humbdolt University Charite Campus (OZK, in Licthenberg) in Internal Medicine. He worked as a General Practitioner in Kanungu District, Uganda, from 1995-2004, was RH (Maternity and MCH Clinic) Unit Manager at Kambuga General Hospital from 1995 - 1999, and Clinical Director - Kihiihi Health Centre, Kanungi District from 2000- 2004. He has also served as health practitioner from clinical cases mamangement through managment and coordination of health services at subnational and national level (TB,Leprosy and |TB/HIV collaborative services).
He now works as Laboratory epidemiologist on a project setting up a network of 32 Public Health Laboartories in the five countries of the East Afrcian region, is secretary to the Mobile Monday - Kampala chapter and a founding member of the mHealth Special Interst Group (mHealth SIG) in Uganda.
